What is the system of theology which has come to be known as “Calvinism”? Who was John Calvin, and why was this system named after him? Did Calvin invent “Calvinism”, or do the doctrines of grace that are identified with Calvin have their basis in Scripture and their roots in historic Christian doctrine? Does the Bible teach the doctrines that are identified as “Calvinism”?
These and similar issues will be addressed by a series of two FREE presentations, open to the public, and to be held on Wednesday, November 29 and Wednesday, December 6. (These presentations will be held in place of the midweek Bible Study these weeks.) Here are the details:

On this upcoming Lord’s Day (Sunday, December 10) we are scheduled to celebrate the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper during the worship service. All baptized persons who have publicly confessed their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and who are members in good standing of a gospel-preaching church, are welcome to commune with us. Let us spend time this week in prayer and self-examination before the Lord as we prepare to commune with our Savior in the holy supper.
